Venezuelan Eduardo Iturrizaga eliminated Argentina's Federico Pérez Ponsa by beating him 5.5 to 0.5 in the eighth round of Ibero-American Online. Federico, a very strong blitz player with 2672 of Elo Fide at this rate, saw his mistakes being punished forceful by Iturrizaga who was better in the middle game and in the rush of time.
