Magnus Carlsen launches first elite online tournament

The Magnus Carlsen Invitational will see the chess world champion face seven of his best rivals for two weeks and with a prize pool of $250,000. The tournament will begin on April 18 and fill the void left in both the world of chess and in the sport in general, by the cancellation of all competitions. All games will be discussed live in chess24 in 9 languages. Pepe Cuenca and Divis will comment in Spanish.
